I am happy to support the mission of the Anacortes Center for Happiness with a little “green energy.” Everything about the Center is uplifting: from the name itself to following the FB posts, blogs, photos, movies, events, to meeting the people who choose to grace its doors. It’s a small way to show my gratitude for reminding me how to smile and raise my vibration so that I can endeavor to affect others around me in a positive way

We would like to thank you for so many wonderful hours of your inspiration and positive energy. In our world, which seems to grow smaller by the minute, we hear so much negativity, it seems to become more and more difficult to focus on the positive, wonderful things that transpire every day. The Anacortes Happiness Center highlights and provides vast amounts of the good our world has to offer, and we are proud to support this in a way that means something to, not only us personally, but to the many who experience joy through the Center and your caring nature

I once wrote, 'Nothing pleases the giver more than to see the joy of the recipient. We’ve all seen the shock of surprise on a loved one’s face instantly transform into happiness and, at times, downright glee. The only thing more wonderful than experiencing that joy is to be the cause of it.' (Ku-Chē: The Way of Being, 9.2). As part of the Anacortes Center for Happiness, we see countless faces exploding into happy smiles and eyes sparkling with joy. What a joy it is to be a part of lighting up the world and the people in it with shared happiness, love, and affirmation. Never underestimate the power of simple sincere kindness; never underestimate your own superpower for sharing that kindness.

It is an honor to be a small part of supporting the Center for Happiness, the Happiness Sprinkling Project, and Laura Lavigne. It is not only a delightful way to spread happiness to others, but an important mission worldwide. I'll never forget my first "sprinkling" in Seattle... people were smiling and waving and accepting FREE HUGS! I was moved to tears by the reactions of people being "noticed" and loved. I think I got more out of it than they did! After all, you can't sprinkle happiness with out getting some on yourself! If a small donation a month ($10.00) can further spread happiness, I'm all in!

This work is so deeply important to me. It feels like an expression of who I have always known myself to be, but somehow got buried along the way. The Center for Happiness, the Happiness Sprinkling Project (and let's be honest, anything Laura puts her hands on) is a huge hooray in the direction of all of us reconnecting with our bottomless well of joy.

I believe every Happiness Sprinkling gives the world a delightful infusion of joy and unexpected happiness. Each has a reach far beyond its actual location. Each helps bend the arc of the universe a little faster and a little further toward a just and joyful world.

I am pleased to be a supporter of Laura Lavigne’s work via the Anacortes Center for Happiness. And it’s for completely selfish reasons. Because I can never forget the feeling of standing on the street corner in Portland, Oregon with a Happiness Sprinkling sign. And of course, because of all the other good things the Center offers, through Laura’s work: Women’s group, healing, dance, meditation, the arts…it’s a venue to host positive events that foster happiness. It’s good work, and I am so pleased to be a part of it.

Why am I a Happiness Ambassador? Because for the pittance I share each month, I am supporting the creation of the world in which I want to live.

I became a Sustaining Happiness Ambassador because I want to support this profound work in an ongoing way. I believe this is an essential healing practice;both for the givers and the receivers. I want to ensure that others get a chance to see the signs in action as well as hold a sign and see the delight, the tears and the hearts open up as the magic of the gathering unfolds. I will never be the same—may you find the healing that is The Happiness Sprinkling Project.

Rose & I feel very grateful for the Center for Happiness. We have been inspired by workshops, entertained by movies, delighted by concerts and exhausted from dancing our socks off! Most of all, we have made wonderful, new friends. If you’re looking for a greater sense of community with people who care about art, music, fun and the quality of their inner lives, this is the place for you.

I have had the distinct honor of hosting 3 Happiness Sprinklings in my area in the last year. I have come to see, first hand, what these signs of encouragement, joy, and happiness can do the unsuspecting individual. I am a hospice nurse, and I love sprinkling happiness in my community, where I live and work. I became a Sustaining Happiness Ambassador to help keep this very important movement going. We need more happiness on this planet. Won't you join me

Shortly after moving to the Seattle area about three years ago, I discovered the Happiness Sprinkling Project. When the opportunity arose a few months later to attend one in Anacortes, I jumped at the chance, and I was immediately hooked by the incredible joy and laughter the entire experience created. I can’t think of anything I do that has a more essence-rich value on a very personal level than each of these, and it is very important to me to support this now international program in any way I can.
